Shortpath provides a simple pre-registration process and tracking solution for pickups and deliveries. Our customizable solution allows both tenants and building staff to manage and secure the building tracking deliveries and resources associated with receiving.

As various tenants use the system to enter data from their desktop, building personnel calendar and manage expected deliveries. Shortpath’s scheduling and management program accurately allocates the time needed to load or unload freight.

How does DSS work?

Any authorized person with an account may schedule a delivery. Our DSS displays pertinent information, vendor data, pickup and delivery data and the current appointment status to individuals who manage the loading dock and or the freight. The estimated time of arrival is displayed for assigned personnel to view.

Completing the appointment/scheduling process is made easy by the DSS’ graphical display of current status of all deliveries. This display is for both the loading dock and the tenant requesting and receiving the delivery. These graphic displays are automatically updated, a critical feature in a multi user environment. With each change the user can elect to be notified via email or have a message delivered to their phone.
